Contributions to the Open Source software ecosystem in the French Higher Education and Research

This survey is distributed to the French higher education and research (ESR) community.

It takes up and adapts the surveys distributed and analyzed by the Linux Foundation Europe [1] [2], focussing to the Public Research sector.

Open Source is both an opportunity [3] and a responsibility [4] for the public sector.

The results of this survey will help us to assess the ESR contributions to the open source ecosystem, so we can highlight how these contributions might be better recognized and valued in the careers in the public sector.
